While The Brooklyn Cottage loves its sit-down dinners, sometimes a series of small dishes prepared and eaten as we go–with our fingers, amidst laughter and easy conversation, while moving about the kitchen or perched atop bar stools, with a possible meander out to the back garden–is precisely what’s called for.  On this night, Cali Rivera, longtime sous-chef at Manhattan’s Prune restaurant, commenced an evening-long instruction and celebration of tapas and the spirit behind them.
