cooking failure culinary instruction in celebration of famous dishes invented by mistake

“Failed attempts at making delicious dishes are sometimes the very thing necessary to permit culinary bliss,” notes Cali Rivera, longtime sous chef at Manhattan’s Prune restaurant and special consultant to Prune owner and best-selling author Gabrielle Hamilton.  On this night at The Brooklyn Cottage, Cali led an intimate group of seven for hands-on instruction in the making of a scrumptious meal, the components of which he found his way to by divine “accident.”
